I have added Remote Workers and Remote Learners to the 2nd Edition of What Color Is Your Brain?®. Since the pandemic, we have seen or experienced new and accepted practices of remote working, which have become a commonplace in people’s lives. Telecommuting and/or working from home, or from outside of a traditional office environment has become acceptable world-wide.

Types of Remote Workers

When I started my business, and not teaching in a classroom, I was considered a Home Based Businesss. Today, I could be considered to be a WFH, a person who performs my job in residence, instead of a traditional office. Other Remote Workers include:
1. Teleworking/Telecommuting: Working from a remote location that supplies Wi-Fi.
2. Digital Nomads: Utilize technology to live and work in a variety of different locations.   
3. Hybrid: Flexible time split between a conventional office and a residence.
4. Telecommuting: Performing duties and tasks outside of a traditional office.

Remote Workers’ Brain Color Personalities and Mindsets

When working with Remote Workers it is important to understand their mindset. Below are examples of Remote Worker’s Brain Color Personalities that influence their Mindsets:
A Yellow Brain mindset: Adhere to the schedule
A Blue Brain mindset: Be collaborative
A Green Brain mindset: Keep learning
An Orange Brain mindset: Be a trouble shooter
