You Can Wish Me Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Joyful Winter Solstice, and/or Happy New Year!
Greetings
My Blue Brain loves all the greetings I hear, this time of year! Each holiday greetings are meant to wish people Love, Joy, and Peace. This year, we also are wishing people Good Health and Safety because of the Coronavirus.
Cheerful Merry Christmas
On Monday, I had to call a business to confirm the correct address. After speaking to the business owner and thanking her, she wished me a “Merry Christmas” with joyfulness and sincerity in her voice. I was delighted to respond by wishing her a “Merry Christmas!”
Diversity
We are fortunate to live in a county with great diversity, which enables us to learn more about each other’s cultural heritage, traditions, and celebrations. The celebrations of Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and the Winter Solstice all include traditional songs, food, storytelling, candle lighting, and family gatherings.
Closing Thought
When someone offers you a holiday greeting, remember they are sharing Love, Joy, and Peace with you, no matter which holiday you do or do not celebrate!
