Yellow Brain Color Clue of the Day

Before I present a What Color Is Your Brain? Program I send a customized “Pre-Program Quesionnaire” to cross-section of attendees that my client thinks will give me a diverse perspective of the business, school or organization.

In August, I sent a questioniarre the staff members at Gertrude B. Nielsen Child Care & Learning Center for their September “Leadership” workshop. The last  question on the questionnaire is: Are their other ideas you would like to share with me?

Below is the answer from one of the attendees:
“NOT REALLY, ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO ADMIT, THIS SURVEY WAS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO ANSWER BECAUSE I WAS WORRIED ABOUT GIVING YOU THE RIGHT ANSWERS EVEN THOUGH YOU SAID THERE WERE NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWERS. IN MY LIFE THERE ARE ALWAYS RIGHT AND WRONG ANSWERS.”

I immediately knew the atttendees was a “Yellow Brainer“….  People with Yellow Brain Personalities worry, need to be right and live their life by doing things the right way. They never what to be wrong by not following the rules!
