“Welkin” is my word for WordWednesday.
• Noun: Sky or heaven
• Usage: The “Welkin” will ring with our joy and relief when a cure for the Coronavisus is discovered!
• Pronunciation – welkən
• The British pronunciation does not sound the “l” in “Welkin”.
• Enjoy the song “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” from the movie Gigi.
