• Adjective: Stingy, thrifty, economical, frugal, tightwad, sparing, restrained

• Usage: People did not like Mr. Scrooge because he was “Parsimonious” with his money.

It is said that people who are are “Parsimonious” with their money and also “Parsimonious” with their kindness!
