“Parsimonious” is my word for WordWednesday.
• Adjective: Stingy, thrifty, economical, frugal, tightwad, sparing, restrained
• Usage: People did not like Mr. Scrooge because he was “Parsimonious” with his money.
• Pronunciation – par-suh-MOH-nee-us
• It is said that people who are are “Parsimonious” with their money and also “Parsimonious” with their kindness!
