Last January, Jeffry O’Brien, a free lance writer and radio host from Scottsdale, Arizona, interviewed me for the article. Our “Orange Brains” had great fun discussing the Brain Color concept.
Jeffry was an adept student. He learned the Brain Color approach quickly and began speaking fluent Brain Color immediately. Jeffry said, “In normal life I am Blue-Green. My girlfriend is Blue-Orange. In my professional life I am Green-Yellow and so is she.”
Last July, Kristina Mastrocola, Assistant Editor, Woman’s World Magazine sent me the following email:
“Just got word that the story is indeed approved! Yay! This story is slated to hit stands on Sept. 1 with a cover date of Sept. 8.”
I unexpectedly learned that the article had been published when I was driving home and speaking Terri Myers, a fellow Women in Networking (WIN) member. Terri said, “I read the article, while spending the weekend at my friend’s lake house. It is exciting to know the person featured in a magazine article.” I appreciated her kind words.
I immediately amended my plan go home. I turned around in the bank parking lot, drove directly to the grocery story and purchased several copies of Woman’s World. It was thrilling to see the article. Jeffry wrote an accurate, educational and engaging article! I was delighted to know the article was finally published and the book was receiving national publicity!

Yes, I was thrilled. Especially, when my client, at the Department of Labor in New York, told me how excited she was to be reading the Women’s World and discover the article. It was “Terrific Timing”…just 2 weeks before my What Color Is Your Brain? Workshops for the DOL and OSHA!
