Wise Words At Work
Today, my “Yellow Brain” was geared up to organize, clean-up and clear out old files.
While, sorting through a banker’s box I discovered 12 Bits and Pieces booklets…”A monthly mixture of horse sense and common sense about working with people.”
My booklets were published in 1993 and 1994. I check online, called the toll free number, but, sadly, it apprears that the company is out of business.
Whether, in challenging economic times or not, I think the business sense and inspiration quotes from the booklets are “Wise Words at Work.” Which, will be the title of my new blog category.
1. Half of life is “if.”
2. “The question should never be who is right, but what is right.” Glenn Gardiner
3. “The key to life is accepting challenges. Once someone stops doing this, he’s dead.” Bette Davis
4. “As you slide down the banister of life, may all the splinters be pointed in the right direction.” Kemmons Wilson
Please, feel free to send me your “wise words at work.” I will happy to post them, give you attribution and/or link them to your website, blog, facebook, etc.
