Type I Diabetes News: Unique Implantable Bio-Artificial Pancreas Tested in Israel!

My Blue Heart and Green Brain are always excited to learn any exciting news about a cure for Type I Diabetes (T1D). Lisa Ginsburgh is a lovely member of my Hadassah Book Club and always sends me information she finds about Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Then I add the information to my reading and research about a cure for my son and the 371 million individuals (adults and children) world-wide who live with the daily challenges of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).

This week, Lisa sent me an article about an implantable bio-artificial pancreas developed by Beta O2 in Israel. The implantable bio-artificial pancreas is going into clinical trials to determine if its unique features provide the key to a cure.
