Synchronicity

 

 

 

Marion-Webster’s 11th
College Dictionary
defines Synchronicity as:
the coincidental occurrence
of events and especially psychic
events (as similar thoughts in
widely separated persons or a
mental image of
an unexpected event
before it happens)
that seem related but are not
explained by conventional
mechanisms of causality —
used especially in the psychology
of C. G. Jung. My Brain Color approach
is based on the MBTI Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator and
Jung personality type theory.

My blog synchronicity began when Jasmine Panayotov, Managing Partner of Proceed Innovate gave me Seth Godin’s book, Meatball Sundae: Is Your Marketing out of Sync?. I devoured Seth’s book and those that followed. I quickly realized that a blog was the answer to connecting and communicating
with people about What Color Is Your Brain?, along with my website .

One day while researching how to build a blog, I received a phone call from Karen Hanrahan. Karen said she had been referred to me by my friend, Susie Duboe-Bryant from Hinsdale Furriers . As the program chairwoman for West Suburban Women Entrepreneurs (WSWE), she was looking for a speaker for their February meeting. Because of the connection to Susie and my availability, I enjoyed presenting a What Color Is Your Brain Workshop to the WSWE members on Thursday, February 21st.

Karen and I continued weaving “Blue Brain” connections the longer we spoke. Because of our divergent conversation (I cannot remember exactly how it happened) I learned that Karen authors a blog, as “Mother Earth”. She generously shared her blog knowledge with me and suggested I contact Michael Snell and Derrick Sorles, the Business Blog Consultants. I followed Karen’s advice and a few days later my Blog Building began.

 

I’ve been blogging almost a month! Today, I spent some time reading and researching other blogs. While I was reading Michael’s and Derrick’s Blog, I noticed that Derrick’s 2/12/2008 post was about Seth Godin’s book, Meatball Sundae: Is Your Marketing out of Sync?
