Only 7 Days Until Author’s Dream Comes True During Bully Prevention Month!

Only 7 day… Only 1 week until my dream for Princess Shayna comes true!

Since 1997, my Blue Brain has dreamed that a multitude of children, teachers, and parents learn about the meaningful messages of: Bully Prevention- Recognizing your self-worth- Valuing your capabilities –  Appreciating differences – Dealing with life’s challenges in my fairy tale, Princess Shayna’s Invisible Visible Gift.

During the past 16 years, I was delighted when classroom presented  their Kingdom of Kindness skits, when children made  Princess Shayna game boards, and performing art school student actors performed their own rendition of my fairytale.

However, having profession actors and song writers create The Invisible Visible Gift  as a live musical production in the beautifully restored historic Broadway Theatre, which was build in 1926, is Fantastic!! The bonus is being part of the Broadway’s Educational Series!

I never gave up on my dream. Now I have a new vision for sharing Princess Shayna with more children.

The “Putting It Together” lyrics from  Stephen Sondeim ‘s musical, Sunday in the Park with George is how I am feeling about myself and all the remarkable individuals who have helped to make my vision for Princess Shayna come to “color-filled” light!

A vision’s just a vision
If it’s only in your head.
If no one gets to see it,
It’s as good as dead.
If has to come to light!

Bit by bit,
Putting it together…
Piece by Piece-
Only way to make a work of art.
Every moment makes a contribution,
Every little detail plays a part.
Having just a vision’s no solution,
Everything depends on execution:
Putting it together.
