Purchasing A New Computer
On Sunday, I visited our local Apple store to purchase a new computer. I asked for assistance from someone who was experienced with a HP laptops and an Apple lapto computer. My Green Brain had researhced computers online and with Apple customer service representative by phone. Fortunately, I was I was introduced to Mo Roenbaum who was expeienced with both types of computers. I appreciated all his Brain Colors. Mo offered me Yellow Detailed information about an Apple computer I had not learned.. He also offered my Green Facts about the two comiputers I thinking about purchasing. Mo’s Orange Sales Skills were resourseful and not pushy, and his Blue Communication skills were excellent becuse he listened to my questions and then authentically gave me answers that were clear and not too technical.
Customer Care and Service
I was so pleased with the excellent customer care and service I received from Mo that I decided to write this post, which is an excerpt from Chapter 4 – Customer Care and Service Truths and is the 3rd Truth in the chapter.
A Customer:
Is the most important person in any business.
Is not dependent on us, we are dependent on him.
A Customer:
Is not an interruption of our work, he or she is the purpose of it.
Does us a favor when he or she calls, we are not doing him a favor by serving him.
Is part of our business, not an outsider.
Is not a cold statistic, he is a flesh and blood human being with feelings and emotions like our own.
A Customer:
Is not someone to argue or match wits with.
Is a person who brings us his or her wants, it is our job to fill those wants.
Is deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment we can give him or her.
Is the man or woman who makes it possible to pay your salary, whether you work in the stockroom, sales department, or the office.
A Customer:
Is the life-blood of this and every other business!
Final Thought
Customer Care and Service is always appreciated if you offer it to others, or it is offered to you!
