My “Green Brain ” always learn something new or revisits information from a previous post when my friend, Karen Hanrahan, a.k.a Mother Earth blogs. Karen’s post are well written, knowledgeable, gracious and thoughtful. The bonus is her lovely photography.

Today, Karen shared a post from Diane MacEachern, one of Karen’s fellow green moms blogger, who wrote a well researched and thought-provoking article about organic bug repellents.

Diane’s post piqued my interest because our Chicago summer has been sizzling and stinging; and our granddaughter’s skin is very sensitive and her uncomfortable bites look more like moth balls, than mosquito bites.
