Miraculous Ultrasound

Today,  my “Blue Heart” sang when I had the incomparable experience of seeing my, soon to be born, grandson on an ultrasound. 

To many people, a baby ultrasound is a routine exam. However, it was not to me! In the 1970’s, when I was pregnant, knowing that our babies were perfectly healthy was something parents could only wish for.

I was thrilled that my son, Noah, and daughter-in-law, Kelly, invited me to share their doctor’s appointment with them. What was modus operandi for them was miraculous “non-fiction” science for me!

I felt a huge sense of gratitude to William Nelson “Nels” Beck of Joliet, IL  after the appointment.

No, he is not Kelly’s doctor…

Mr. Nelson was the inventor of the ultrasound!
