May BrainBuzz Newsletter Honors Mothers

To honor my mother, on what would have been her 95th Birthday, I sent out my May BrainBuzz Newsletter today. I also included a picture of my mother and I wearing our Mother-Daughter dresses, which my mother had sewn, and standing our garden in 1948. My mother was 31 years old and I was 3 years old.

In the  first section I wrote about the upcoming and exciting premier musical production of  of my family fairy tale, Princess Shayna’s Invisible Visible Gift. Of course, there would not have been a fairy tale if Queen Sylvia had not given birth to Princess Shayna. Writing Princess Shayna gave me an opportunity to honor my parents, friends and family members. However, no one was prouder of my book than my mother, (Queen) Sylvia. I knew she… “Loved me more than tongue could tell!”

In the second section, I wrote about the genesis of Mother’s Day. I also paid tribute to he two remarkable mothers in my life ! My mother, Sylvia Newman, was a Yellow/Blue Brainer, and my mother-in-law, Lillian Glazov was a Green/Yellow Brainer. I loved them both more than tongue can tell, and I am grateful for their love, encouragement, and generosity. I am the woman, wife, mother, and grandmother I am today because of the invaluable life lessons my mothers taught me!

I also offered Brain Color Clue to help my reader you recognize and understand the relationship with their mother

Last but not least, I included a link to my WGN TV Mother’s Day Video for tips about mothers’ and children’s Brain Colors. The host really get into discovering each others’ Brain Colors and how they work together. It is very entertaining.

The last section was to remind my readers how we can stay connected they can contact me about a Brain Color program

Ahhhhhhhhh memories 🙂 Not only do I see my beautiful great aunt-in-law (is there such a category?) but I see the little girl I had a giant crush on when I was a little squirt.
    Happy Mothers Day!

“Skipper”, Yes beautiful family memories. My mother never considered any of the family as “in-laws”, but maybe “outlaws”. 😉 She always had a very special place in her heart, as I do, for our Okie Family Members!! The giant crush turned out to be a wonderfully loving “cousin” relationship!! 🙂 Thanks for your comments. Your words always bring a smile to my face and heart! 🙂
