Leaves of the Tree
The leaves of the Ginkgo tree grow in leaflet clusters, like a community of people and families. The branches grow upward and represent the youth in all of us, reaching for new knowledge, with balance and guidance from the roots and solid support from the trunk, as tree and our lives grow and change.
The Ginkgo tree is one of the oldest species of tree. It is a tree of great distinction and dignity. It is an ancient Chinese emblem of longevity and survival.
In the spring her leaves blossom all at one time. In the autumn, she drop her leaves all at one time. I like to think that dressing in a beautiful green gown in the spring. In the autum, I like to think she is undress and taking off her lovely golden gown.
Enjoy learning about the behavior of our trees. They demonstrates how we are connectd to nature and how our trees can teaches us that change can be beautiful and fascinationg!
