Learn Tips to Successfully Collaborate With Each Brain Color Personality!

Brain Book for Managers

In my new book, What Color Is Your Brain?® When Managing People and Project that I am writing,  Chapter  9 is entitled: Collaborate to Build Rapport with Team Members and Stakeholders. Collaboration is a high prioroty for my Brain Brain!

Collaborative Working

I think of Collaborative Working as a variation of the educational term Collaborative Learning, which is an educational approach of utilizing groups to enhance learning through working together. Groups of two or more team members working together to solve problems, complete tasks, and initiate new projects and concepts.

Collaboration Outcomes

Collaboration includes the development of higher-level thinking, oral communication, self-management, and leadership skills. Promotion of individuals’ interaction with each other, which increase in their  retention of ideas, self-esteem, and sense of responsibility.

An Engaging Approach

This approach positively and actively engages team members to process and synthesize data and concepts. When different Brain Color team members collaborate on a project, it helps each individual understand and utilize all the concepts they need to achieve their goal successfully.

Improve Understanding

Through defending their positions, reframing ideas, listening to other Brain Color personalities’ points of view, and articulating those points, team members will gain a more complete and inclusive understanding as a successful team, not just as an individual team member.

Creating Collaboration with the Four Brain Color Personalities

Collaboration with Yellow Brain Personalities: Define their roles and goals in a clear, accurate, and organized manner.
Collaboration with Blue Brain Personalities: Provide personal, sensitive, and caring feedback.
Collaboration with Green Brain Personalities: Ask them for their advice and vision of the “Big Picture”.
Collaboration with Orange Brain Personalities: Handle meetings at a fast pace with a bullet point agenda.

Closing Thoughts
