Learn How to Plan for Success!

Sweet Memories
Last week, I learned that a grand gentleman, Bruce Morical (may his memory be a blessing), who worked with my parents, at their company, Lab-Line Instruments, Inc. for 34 years, passed away. His wife called to let me know about Bruce. Cindy and I cried together and spoke about our sweet memories of her beloved husband and my beloved parents.
Book Contribution
No Bunk Just BS (Business Sense: 50 Timely and Timeless Truths Business School Cannot Teach You, is my family business memoir about my parents and Lab-Line Instruments, the business they built togther. While writing the book, I had call Bruce and asked him to contribute a story about my parents and/or Lab-Line. He had so many memories. I was thrilled with the contribution Bruce sent me to include in the Chapter #7, which is entitled Reminiscences, Wisdom, and Inspriation.
Planning for Success
I trust the lesson’s Bruce learned will be helpful for your to plan and achieve your goals and success!
“Planning for Success – Bruce M. Morical
I learned many lessons about being successful during the 34 years I was a Lab-Line employee. The two most significant lessons were planning on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis and being prepared for sales calls. Both Mr. and Mrs. Newman always emphasized the importance of planning. Clear and prompt sales reports and product knowledge were Lab-Line business standards. I think the most important factors in Lab-Line’s success were honesty with our customers, the steadfast management, the dedicated people, and great marketable products.”
Closing Thought
Bruce enjoyed a successful career and friendship with my parents and the members of the Lab-Line family. A 34 year career with the same company is a tribute to Bruce’s work ethic and my parents’ family business practices. I trust you will find Bruce’s thoughts about Planning for Success most helpful!
