Details about the Classes

May 3-May 20, 2022 | Tuesday & Thursdays 4:30 PM-6:00 PM | Saturdays 1:00 PM-4:00 PM
Staged Reading (Performance): Friday, May 20, Time: TBD
Ages 12 & Up
Prerequisites: Students must exhibit an appreciation and aptitude for musical theatre and have some experience in musical theatre performance (either at school or through another program).
Instructor(s) – Billy Seger & Evan Swanson

The Creative Process

Be part of the creative process! Students will help develop and create live scenes and musicals based on selections from the timeless and timely bestseller by author Sheila Glazov.
Students will help mount selections from the book, offer suggestions and stage the show for feedback from an audience!
Music and lyrics by the Raue’s very own Billy Seger and Evan Swanson.

Final Thought

I am honored and thrilled that my beloved fairy tale will be produced as a children’s musical for the 3rd time!
I am grateful for the Raue Center team members’ enthusiasm for creating this opportunity for student to learn about Princess Shayna and her meaningful messages of respect and acceptance of people’s differences, recognition of building harmonious relationships, and overcoming obstacles and turning them into opportunities!
