Is What You Say Important?

Listening
Yesterday morning, I was chatting with my husband and he made Green Brain statement that resonated with me. I wrote his comment down so could share it with my readers.
Jordan’s Comment
Jordan did not have his hearing aids in his ears, while we were speaking. I immediately wrote down his comment, which was: “I did not hear you, but I am sure it was important!”
Importance of Jordan’s Comment
Jordan’s comment was important because he told me he could not hear me and most importantly he told me that he knew it must be important and acknowledged me!
Brain Color Interpretations
Each of the 4 Brain Color could interpret what Jordan said from their perspecive.
Yellow Brainers would say, “I did not hear you, but I am sure it was critical!”
Blue Brainers would say, “I did not hear you, but I am sure it was helpful!”
Green Brainers would say, “I did not hear you, but I am sure it was serious!”
Orange Brainers would say, “I did not hear you, but I am sure it was beneficial!“
Closing Thought
We all appreciate when someone listens to us and acknowledges what we are saying. However, when the other person is not able to properly hear what we have said; there are many thoughtful ways to tell us they were not able to hear us, and let us know what we are saying is important, depending on their Brain Color Perspective!
