Ironic Firsts of March

Ironic Firsts of March

Monday, March 10th was a day “First in Print” for me.

My first “First” was a complimentary email that my publisher forwarded to me from the What Color Is Your Brain? website. The message was from a businesswoman who purchased my book at a NewsLink Store in the Miami Airport. She “coincidently” found my book while waiting for a connecting flight to the Dominican Republic. It was exciting news because What Color Is Your Brain? had recently arrived at the store. I immediately responded to her email, which said she was interested learning more about my Brain Color Workshops, and I wanted to thank her for her kind words.

My first response (due to my dyslexia) bounced back as undeliverable. However, when I edited the address my my second resonse was successfully transmitted.

My second “First” was posting the
Blue Brain Color Tips on my blog myself. However, I would not have been up to the technical challenge without the patient coaching from my “Blog Masters,” Michael Snell and Derrick Sorles of Business of Blogging Consultants a.k.a Your Business M.D.s and the wise-woman encouragement from my “Blog Mentor,” Karen Hanrahan, a.k.a Mother Earth. I am most grateful for their assistance!

My third “First” was the arrival of my first social security check from the United States Treasury Department!

I smile and chuckle thinking my “Ironic Firsts.”

Cheers to your “Ironic Firsts of March!”
