How To Be A Better Parent

It’s not a secret that children do not come with a manual,
but most of us wish they did!

However, if you want to know how to be a better parent read the Brain Color article entitled “How knowing your brain color can make you a better parentin Chicago Parent Magazine.

Last month, free lance writer, Sara Fisher interviewed me for the article, which has been published in the February issue.

The discusses how Parents can:
1. Determine their child’s Brain Color
2. Parents communicate with their children more effectively
3. Speak fluent Brain Color
4. Learn to discipline their children more appropriately,
    according to their personality
5. Understand why they were attracted to each other
6. Improve their relationship

Happy Parenting!

P.S. Many Thanks to Sarah and Tamara for the article!

Greetings Sheila! Hope all is well with you!! From your post here it looks like you are quite the busy woman! Just wanted to share with you a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that I found (because I know you’ve been on a quest for them!)

    Chocolate Chip Cookies:

    Add to bowl:
    3 tbsp flax seed meal
    1/2 tsp guar gum
    1/2 cup applesauce
    1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
12 drops vanilla creme liquid stevia
2 tbsp honey or coconut sugar for vegan cookies
1/4 cup coconut oil (for vegan cookies) or ghee (which is casein-free), liquified

    Mix with electric mixer.

    Add:
    1 cup almond meal flour
    1/2 cup coconut flour
    1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder (Grain-free Baking Powder Recipe)
1/3 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (I use Enjoy Life)

    Mix again.

Roll into balls and flatten the balls in your hands. (they don’t really change shape in the oven)

Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.

*Also, I know you’re sensitive to xanthan gum but guar gum is not derived from corn so I’m not sure if it works okay with your body or not but just wanted to share it with you!

Take care! Best wishes with all your current endeavors! Hope to see you at AWH soon!
    Melissa
