Happy Chanukah

At sundown, Chanukah, the Jewish Festival of Lights begins.

This is going to be a short blog post because I have to:

1. Shred the potatoes to make Patato Latkes or potato pancake, which is a traditional part of the holiday dinner.

2. Polish our brass Menorah. The 9 branch candelabra, which holds the holiday candles for 8 days and includes the Shamas or watchman service candle that is used to light the other candles.

3. Take out the family Dreidles. The little toy tops our children have played with since childhood.

4. Prepare the holiday table with the Shabbat Candles, too.

Tonight is a double celebration of Shabbat and Chanukah!

May the Chanukah Light brighten your Life with
Happiness, Good Health and Peace in your Heart!
                               Happy Chanukah!
