Green Brain Color Clue of the Day – Making Improvements

Last year, I recieved a most delightful Green Brain informative Holiday Letter from Denise Knoblauch, RN, BSN COHN-S/CM who is a Clinical Case Manager at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. I met Denise and have appreciated her Green attributes and abilitities when we have worked together at two Association of Occupational Health Professionals (AOHP) conference and a Illinos Hosptial AssociationRisk Management Services (IRMS) conference.

I called Denise to say “Thank You”. I also wanted to offer my compliments about the unique Green Brain letter format that included a numbered list from 1 to 10.

When we spoke Denise said, “I couldn’t resist the 11th. I had to improve it.”

Denise’s format and response were perfect examples of a Green Brainer’s personality style. She develolped a system for her Holiday Letter, numbered the information she selected to share with others and then couldn’t restainer herself from making improvements to what she had written.

Green Brainers always find a method to make things better. That is the logical reason they often have a difficult time finishing a project… they must keep making what they did better, and better, and better, and better…

Whom do you know who is a Green Brainer?

I’m a GREEN Brainer, but I’d rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp stick than not complete a project 🙂 Putting a checkmark by something on my list is a delightful feeling. I think I could go as far as saying that it’s actually therapeutic (at least for me).
