Four Color Tongue
My friend, Karen Hanrahan, like to say that I speak “forked color tongue” when
I integrate my Brain Color comments into our phone conversations or emails.
However, I prefer my color-filled tongue-twister… I like to say that I speak
“Four Color Tongue.”
Many of us think negatively about the expression “to speak with a split or forked tongue” or to say one thing and mean another.
We also can contemplate a positive meaning. A forked tongue allows some reptiles to use the tip of their split tongue to sense the direction of a specific smell, which often effects them positively.

When I speak with “Four Color Tongue” it allows others to sense the concise direction of my POV (point of view). I am also expressing and offering others a easy way to communicate with me, which eliminates misunderstandings and/or accusations.
1. To thank some one for their kindness, I might say, “Thank you, that was very ‘Blue’ of you!” I am paying a compliment to the other person, because Blue Brainers are known for their thoughtfulness, cooperation and flexibility.
2. I recently asked my husband to be more “Yellow” in stead of “Orange.” It was my gentle way of encouraging him to utilize his organizational skills and terminate his propensity for procrastination.
3. I am proud to say that I have purposefully modified my “Blue Brain” with more “Green” attributes by learning how to update my computer programs, visiting and reading different blogs, researching and purchasing a new computer, and exercising more logic when making decisions.
4. As many of you know from previous post, our son, Noah and his family have moved home from Brazil. I encourage Noah by telling him that he will find the perfect job opportunity. I know someone will respect his “Orange Brain” attributes and abilities…they will admire his courageous risk-taking and resourceful entrepreneurship that influenced his business success in Sao Paulo.
I invite you to become “Orange/Green”… take a risk/learn to speak “Four Color Tongue!”
