Fantastic Holiday Hidden Treasures Fine Art Show that Benefits Senior Pet Rescue and Adoption
Today, my Guest Blogger is my Talented Blue Brain Friend, Kathleen Rickert Nelson of Kathleen Nelson Fine Art, Inc.
Now Kathleen is going to tell you about herself and the wonderful event she has coordinated. Take it away Kathleen…
“I’m passionate illustrator of homes, businesses, historic aircraft and family pets. I’m hosting my very first art show – “Holiday Hidden Treasures Fine Art Show” to showcase other artists who have helped me in the past with other listed art shows that I have been in. It is all about “paying it forward” to help other entrepreneurs so that we all can continue to grow with the entrepreneurial spirit! I also have several people that are not artists and have their own business. This event is also benefits the Young at Heart Senior Pet Rescue & Adoptions a 501c3 not-for-profit organization to rescue and re-home senior dogs and cats 7 years old and older.
I have been awestruck with the creativity spirit of the other artists/businesses. I love doing this creative , getting the word out of what we create and sell. The artists/businesses are very excited about this because they want to expand their businesses in other communities. There is another reason why I did this art show. It is also about the
community. Having talented artists and other companies display as well as sell their work is another way to have different communities see the beauty of their art/offerings. It is all about growing…your creative self, your business and the community.
There will be 25 artists/businesses showcased. I am the host and creates illustrations in pen and ink or water color of historic homes, businesses, historic aircraft and family pets. Designs are created and then they are transferred to porcelain ornaments, mugs, tempered glass appetizer platters, note and holiday note cards, and note pads.a
