The rapport you build with another Brain Color adult or child will enable you to understand how to help them feel cared for and safe during stressful times.

While revising the second edition of What Color Is Your Brain?® I added the following information to Chapert #13 – Build Rapport and Respect with Others.
The Brain Color infomation below will help you offer comfort and safety to adults and children during stressful times.
Yellow Brainers
* Discuss the plans they have prepared.
* Introduce themselves and ask others what they prefer to be called.
* Make sure others feels safe in unfamiliar environment.
* Are polite and prompt.
Blue Brainers
* Intuitively assess other people’s feelings and needs.
* Offer calming hugs.
* Show genuine concern for the other person.
* Ask the other person how they are genuinely feeling.
Green Brainers
* Let others know how capable they are.
* Tell them exactly what is going to be happening to them.
* Speak calmly.
* Ask them why they made a specific decision.
Orange Brainers
* Let them know they are putting themselves in their shoes.
* Tell them a joke or funny story.
* Respond to their needs as quickly as possible.
* Are cheerful when appropriate.
