Double Birthday Celebration!
Today, is my husband’s 68th birthday and our granddaughter’s 4th birthday.
Our “Brazilian” children surprised my husband with breakfast this morning,
which included a hand painted bowl, plate and mug they made for him.
We all enjoyed breakfast together. Delicious memories of their residence
with us when they returned to Chicago from Sao Paulo.
After we ate our grandson enjoyed playing on the Harley Davidson motorcycle wooden rocker and our granddaughter dressed up in my white slipper satin flower girl dress, my mother made for me, which I wore for two weddings when I was 4 years old.
What a joyful way to begin our “Orange Brain” Birthday Celebrations.
Tonight we are celebrating with a yummy dinner of family favorites: Homemade vegetable soup, “Grandma Lil” chicken, my special creamed spinach, roasted sweet potatoes and a home-made dark chocolate birthday cake!
My “Blue Brain” is off to the kitchen to enjoy make the “Happy Birthdays” Feast!
