Do You Know Why You Are Afraid of CHANGE?

Why are you afraid of change?

People react differently to change in their personal and professional lives. Some individuals welcome change with excitement and other are frieghtened of not knowing what the changes might affect them or their loved ones’ lives.

Requirement for change

We are experiencing tremendous change in the United States and in other countries all over the world. People usually do not have an opprotunity to weigh and balance the requirements for change in their lives. Most of the time, people are not in control of the changes in their lives. However, if they are fortunate to influence that change they will be able to respond more positively to the change.

Change or die!

  1. Some Brain Colors are are deathly afraid of change because they don’t know what will happen if they experience change.
  2. Others fear change because they feel they will no longer be in control.
  3. Many people want to keep what they know or can do, so they do not want to change.
  4. Technology is a primary “change agent” in our lives and “non-techy” people are terrified of technology and the changes it creates.
  5. Refusing to change is often some personalties only response to change.

Whenever a life experience or changing my Brain Color has challenged me, I encourage myself with one of my favorite affirmations that I created many years ago:
“It was gruesome and I grew some. In fact, I should be 10 feet tall by now.”
