Discover why you are missing hugs during COVID-19 and Social Distancing!

Are you missing a hug from a loved one, friend, neighbor, and/or colleague? Because of the Coronavirus many people are feeling stressed and missing healthy hugs, which are an emotional connection to others for humans, as well as some animals.

I enjoyed  reading the newspaper article entitled: We’re Human, we have to hug, which caught my attention because as a Blue Brainer, I love to give and get hugs to express my love and gratefulness!

“Human touch is very critical for our bodies, mostly for our physical health,” Tiffany Field, director of the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami medical school…“Physical touch stimulates pressure receptors under the skin, and they in turn reach the vagus nerve, which slows down the nervous system and essentially calms you by reducing your stress levels.”

If you are wondering how the difference Brain Colors feel about hugs, the answers are below:

Yellow Brainers like hugs when they feel it is the appropriate and proper time and place.
Blue Brainers love giving and getting hugs at any time to show their love and gratitude.
Green Brainers prefer not to hug, unless you ask them, “Can I give you a hug?”, first.
Orange Brainers spontaneous give hugs because it’s fun!

Wishing you healthy hugs and emotional connections very soon!
