Diabetes & Silpada Designs

Today begins the second week of American Diabetes Awareness Month. I am delighted to highlight my friend, Ellen Day, again. Ellen is a Silver Manager for Silpada Designs, Sterling Silver Jewelry.

Last, June I had the pleasure and privilege of presenting a What Color Is Your Brain? workshop for Ellen and her  Silpada sales team.

The workshop focused on team members’ “Brain Color Selling
Styles”

and how to successful interact and communicate with clients.

Sales Representative, Gosia Imade, and me.

I was thrilled and impressed when I learned that Silpada also raises public awareness about diabetes and money for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to find a cure.

During Silpada’s 2004 Leadership Conferences, Jen Oswald, a mother whose son has Type I diabetes, shared her dream of raising money to find a cure for diabetes. Co-founders, Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh were so impressed and inspired by Jen’s dream that Silpada created a partnership with its independent Representatives across the nation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) for its national Polishing Off Juvenile Diabetes Campaign.

The Polishing Off Juvenile Diabetes Campaign offers Silpada Designs Representatives an opportunity to create a greater awareness about juvenile diabetes and sell the JDRF Polishing Cloths. For every Polishing Cloth sold, Silpada Designs donates $1.00 to JDRF. The cloth shines the jewelry and “adds a little sparkle to a child’s life!”

A “Sparkling Thank You” to Silpada Designs for their commitment and
contributions to find a cure for diabetes and support JDRF!
