Celebrate International Women’s Day

Today, women all over the world are celebrating International Women’s Day.

The celebration has come a long way since its birth in Germany in 1911.

International Women’s Day was first observed as a popular event after 1977 when the United Nations General Assembly invited member states to proclaim March 8 as the UN Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace.

We have come a long way, ladies. However, we still have to diligently work to make the world a safer and healthier place where women and their children are cared for and respected!
