Does Building a Harmonious Rapport with Other People Baffle You?

The lyrics, I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, sung in the song, “I’d Like to Teach the World To Sing” make my Blue Harmonious Brain think it would be grand if we all could communicate and collaborate with others in perfect harmony in our workplaces, homes, schools, and communities.

To build a harmonious rapport with other people it is essential to know the type of the tone,  approach, understanding, and acknowledgment to demonstrate when speaking with Yellow, Blue, Green, and/or Orange Brainers and to also appreciate their Brian Color personalities and perspectives.

To Build a Harmonious Rapport with a Yellow Brainer:
♦ Use a diplomatic tone.
♦ Employ a formal approach.
♦ Make them feel secure.
♦ Understand their sense of commitment.
♦ Acknowledge their “follow the rules” motto.

To Build a HarmoniousRapport with a Blue Brainer:
♦ Use a friendly tone.
♦ Employ a collaborative approach.
♦ Make them feel appreciated.
♦ Understand their sensitivity.
♦ Acknowledge their “we can help each other” motto.

To Build a HarmoniousRapport with a Green Brainer:
♦ Use an informative tone.
♦ Utilize a logical approach.
♦ Value their intelligence.
♦ Understand their sense of brevity.
♦ Acknowledge their “think it through thoroughly” motto.

To Build a Harmonious Rapport with an Orange Brainer:
♦ Use an encouraging tone.
♦ Utilize a relaxed approach.
♦ Acknowledge their informal style.
♦ Understand their “non-traditional” sense of style.
♦ Acknowledge their “let’s go for it!” motto.

Now, you will no longer be baffled, you will be encouraged, to build harmonious rapport with others in your workplace, home, school, and/or community!
