Brain Color Stress Less & Holiday Celebration Tips #4

Today is the first day of Chanukah. Our celebration began last night and will last for eight days; and Christmas will be celebrated this weekend.

Below are  more Tips from my What Color Is Your Brain? book to help you understand how each Brain Color personality handles the stress of  Holiday Celebrations  with family members and friends, and how to make your festivities easier and hassle-free.

Yellow Brainers: Enjoy observing annual and/or traditional holiday favorites.  Special foods, songs, gift giving and family activities are some ways they enjoy their celebrations.

Blue Brainers: Love sitting and talkiing with family & friends and share family stories and activities with each other. Just being together is a there celebration!

Green Brainers:  Enjoy putting toys & games together for the children and then having some time to themselves to get a way from the crowds and chaos.

Orange Brainers: Like playing games or sports with the other adults and children. Having fun is what their celebration is all about!

In the spirit of sharing with others, Jordan an I  made our traditional “Holiday Gift” donation to the Community Crisis Center in Elgin, Illinois.  CCC‘s mission is to provide Safety, Hope, Advocacy, Respite and Education for adults and children impacted by crisis and violence in Illinois.

I am going to enjoy the Holiday Season with my family by spending time with my children, grandchildren and other family members and friends. I am going to prepare a Glazov Family Chanukah and Shabbat celebration on Friday night by making latkes and baking my grandmother’s traditional Chanukah butter cookies, sharing gifts and playing dreidel with my grandchildren.

I also plan to time off from working and writing at my usual pace.
