How does your Brain Color Personality demonstrate and value Trust and Trustworthiness?

My parents always had a copy of  Reader’s Digest in our home and I have continued to enjoy the stories and articles since I was a teenager. My Blue Brain loves the human interest stories; my Yellow Brain enjoys the organization and selection of the stories; my Green Brain likes the facts and information offered in the articles, and my Orange Brain has fun reading the humorous jokes and anecdotes.

In the June copy, I read an article entitled Whom Do We Trust? The article began with the following statement: “Trust is a rare commodity these days, which is all the more reason to celebrate it.” The article listed 8 individuals that represented the most trusted professions and the examples they set for people to have confidence in them.

The article caused me to pause and think about The Goose Story by Dr. Harry Clarke Noyes that I use in my What Is Your “Teamwork” Brain?® programs.

In my workshop materials, I  have added “trust” and “trustworthiness” after thrust” in the following sentence: “because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.”  to emphasize teamwork, humans need to learn, which comes naturally to the geese.

As stated in the article, “Trust is a rare commodity these days.” Trust is rare because it is a strong sense of openness and sharing of ideas and feelings.

I also think that to be Trustworthiness is even rarer than trust. To be Trustworthy is the ability to accept others and their contributions, to support, recognize and affirm others’ strengths and capabilities and exhibit cooperative and honest intentions.

A Yellow Brainer can demonstrate trustworthiness and trust because they value loyalty and respectfulness.

A Blue Brainer can demonstrate trustworthiness and trust because they value authenticity and compassion.

A Green Brainer can demonstrate trustworthiness and trust because they value justice and reason.

An Orange Brainer can demonstrate trustworthiness and trust because they value courage and opportunities.
