Blue Brain Author Relieves Stress And Takes Efficiently Green Brain Leave Of Absence

August began with a detailed Yellow Brain To-Do List of What Color Is Your Brain? and Princess Shayna’s Invisible Visible Gift programs and writing projects. Yikes! I have been metaphorically feeling like I am rollerblading at high speed.

To keep from being overwhelmed, I check off the tasks I have accomplished on my list. The visual check is encouraging to my Blue Brain, completing the tasks engages my competitive Orange Brain, and focusing on the tasks with my Green Brain helps me begin and/or complete all the tasks.

When my Blue Brain needs to be efficiently Green, I often tell my husband, “I wish I could go back in time to my 1950’s typewriter and a dial phone.” I know I cannot go backward. However, I can move forward by having my Blue Brain feel less stressed and take an Efficiently Green Brain Leave of Absence to complete all of my writing tasks.

I bid you a “Green Brain Adieu”, for the next few weeks.

“Thank you” for your Blue Brain understanding of my “healthy” decision to take good care of myself and stay efficiently Green and focused.

Laurie. My Green Brain needed to focus and keep my battery charged for my Green project. My Blue Brain is happy when I feel comfortable and not stress by other writing responsibilities. Thanks for your encouraging words! 🙂
