Author’s Confession: Now, I understand why I have become more impatient!

Today,  my Orange Brain eagerly awaited the proof copies of Purr-fect Pals: A Kid, A Cat & Diabetes. When I check in about the copies I was told they were not ready and would not be shipped until tomorrow. I had paid $27.94 for priority UPS delivery for today and requested that the shipping fee be refunded to my credit card. It was. I just checked again and was told the book will arrive tomorrow by 3:00pm! My Yellow Brain is keeping positive thoughts that the book arrives on time!

When I sent my publicist an email about the delay my Orange Brain  realized that WITH AGE I HAVE BECOME MORE IMPATIENT!
I do not have the time, I did when I was younger. Now I understand why my mother was impatient, when when she was my age. I didn’t understand, but I do now!

Purr-fect Pals has been a work in progress for 10 year! I have worked hard and diligently and my Orange Brain is ready and impatient to share Purr-fect Pals with children all over the world and their families, who deal with never-ending challenges of diabetes! You can enjoy back-story for Purr-fect Pals on my website.

My Blue Brain reminds me that I am more patient in other areas of my life!
I am still impatient about discovering a cure for diabetes. Please remember that November is Diabetes Awareness Month!

I will let you know when the proof books arrive and my Orange Brain is no longer impatient!
