Annual Top Cats Motorcycle Club Picnic

Last Saturday morning, my husband, Jordan and I enjoyed another beautiful ride and picnic for our Annual Top Cats Motorcycle Club Picnic, which was organized by Mike and Cathy Bradbury.

We rode with 13 other bikes. Our “Responsible Road Captain”, Dennis lead us on a scenic ride from Wauconda up to Genoa City, Wisconsin, West to the Wisconsin and Illinois State line, down through Alden, Illinois, through McHenry County to our destination, the Moraine Hills State Park. The country back road ride was a delightful 90 minute journey.

When we arrived at Moraine Hills State Park, the aroma of hamburgers and brats
cooking on the grill was a delicious welcome.

Chef Terry, his lady, Cindy, and Mike and his wife, Cathy, had organized and prepared
a yummy buffet for the riders and passengers, and other top cats who arrived in
4 wheel vehicles.

You might have heard how difficult is to herd cats. However, it wasn’t difficult to
herd the fun loving Top Cats. They enjoyed gathering for a Water Balloon Toss
and some other familiar picnic games, that Mike skillfully orchestrated.

Wayne and his neighbor, Joan, enjoyed a “Sweet Victory,” as winners of the
Water Balloon Toss.

Past President, Chuck, and his wife, Maureen, were on the disabled list due
to injuries incurred while riding their horses, not their motorcycles.

They enjoyed visiting under the shade of the decorative forest preserve shelter
with my husband, Jordan.

Our ride began at 9:30 and the picnic wound down around 3:30.

Everyone enjoyed a safe, delicious and relaxing summer
day, thanks to Mike and his Top Cats Picnic Team!

Bravissimo!

I’m confident, we all will recall the fun we shared, while our bikes are
hibernating and we are waiting for the “First Ride of Spring!”
