A Memorial Day Weekend Remembrance for Our Fallen Heroes
People in the United States are preparing for the Holiday Weekend and the Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 26th.
Each Brain Color will look forward to the weekend and holiday from their own unique perspective.
Yellow Brainers are making preparations and plans for trips, holiday gatherings and entertainment.
Blue Brainers are looking forward to spending time with family and friends.
Green Brainers are thinking about some quiet time off from work.
Orange Brainers are eager to have fun as the weekend marks the beginning of the summer season with the end of the school year, graduations, family vacations, weddings, and summer time fun!!
This weekend is very special for our family because our youngest son was born on May 26th. This Memorial Day Weekend we will be celebrating his 40 birthday!
I also have vivid memories of going to Memorial Day or Decoration Day, as it was called when I was a child, parades and ceremonies to honor the men and women who died serving in the United States Armed Military. I still enjoy going to parades and special events to honor our military heroes!
My Blue Heart is always saddened when people do not know or have forgotten the significance of the Memorial Day Observance. for many people, it is a just a 3 or 4 day weekend.
My Wish for Memorial Day: Take a few moments to remember and honor the heroes who have served and given their lives so others may enjoy a holiday weekend of Freedom, Family, Friends, and Fun!
